Collection: Nature Etching Collection 2022
The new Nature Etching Collection of 2022 by Australian artist, printmaker and designer Jet James.
This original series, printed in February 2022 in Jet's printmaking studio, features etchings that utilises flora and other items from nature. The process uses dried flora which is pressed into a PVC board creating intricate patterns which occur in nature. Different inks are then applied to the plate and it is pressed onto paper using a traditional printing press which is located on-site in the Jet James Art Gallery, Yeppoon.
